The Learning Express is a family owned and operated private school located in Newark, DE and has been providing childcare services to the community for over a decade. Founded in 1994, The Learning Express began as a Pre-school, offering a unique structured academic program for children ages 3 through 5. In 1995, the facilities were expanded to add a Kindergarten program, and in 2002 The Learning Express Pre-school moved to a newly constructed building, which is now its current location at 300 Darling Street. Since 1994, it has been the goal of Owner / Administrator Kathy Gordon to provide a warm and welcoming family atmosphere where children, parents and staff can feel at home.

To carry on the traditions of the Learning Express Pre-school & Kindergarten, in September 2006, our family grew once again with the grand opening of Learning Express Academy, a private elementary school offering grades Kindergarten through 5th. Housed in a brand new facility, Learning Express Academy is conveniently located directly across the parking lot shared with The Learning Express Pre-school.
